Are you covered by insurance when undertaking activities with CMW?
CMW carries two insurance policies covering Personal Accident and Public Liability. These policies cover all Full Members and Prospective Members undertaking Club walks and other activities. Our Public Liabilty Insurance also includes Associations Liability Cover - which protects the Club's Committee Members.
The policies are arranged annually through Bushwalking NSW, and thence through Bushwalking Australia which negotiates the final contract with the insurance company on behalf of BNSW and the other Australian States and Territories. Simply paying your Membership Subscription invoice each year (or for your 12 months Prospective Membership) gives you insurance coverage. So you're good to go!
Your Invoice includes a Membership Agreement which has a risk waiver component that is activated when the invoice is settled.
