Since the duration of this lockdown is now most uncertaion, all trips on the Walks Program are suspended till further notice.
Owing to a ongoing COVID-19 issues, we have regrettably been forced to suspend all club meetings until further notice. However, social activities are starting up again.
Please consult the latest NSW Government news and updates about COVID-19 on a regular basis to ensure you're aware of the current health situation. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, even mild symptoms, you should stay home and get tested.
What is CMW?
The Coast and Mountain Walkers specializes in overnight, weekend and extended bushwalks in the Sydney region, NSW, Australia interstate and overseas. We also offer day walks, canyoning, packrafting, liloing, kayaking, cycling, snow touring, campfire gatherings, club night meetings with members and guest speakers conducting presentations, and social restaurant nights. We are always encouraging new members to join CMW. You can join as a prospective, and after a small number of qualifying walks, qualify as a full member. Prospective membership is currently free, and when qualified, you then become a full member for a small annual fee. In addition to the above outdoor activities, members and guests can attend monthly club meetings, restaurant nights and other social activities. Members also receive four issues of the Clubs' magazine "Into the Blue". Further details on becoming a member can be found here.
