Meetings and Social Program

Club meetings are held at Concord High School on the second Wednesday of the month at 8pm in the Theatrette, Stanley Street, Concord, opposite the playing fields, UBD - 233 M 8 (Google Map).

CMW acknowledges the Wangal people of the Dharug nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which these activities are held.


Restaurant Nights traditionally begin at 7.30pm unless otherwise advised.


May 23:  Annual Dinner

This is the CMW dinner of the year, so not to be missed.

Our Annual Dinner this year is at Golden Century Restaurant, 393-399 Sussex Street, Sydney. For restaurant details, see Golden Century Chinatown. Map here. I believe we will be going with the $55 per head banquet menu. The restaurant is licenced and a corkage fee applies for BYO. Meet 7 pm.

June 13:  Clubroom Evening

Tonight is our Quarterly General Meeting.

Following will be Subai Hofenweg, a short slide presentation by Trevor Carr of an 11-day walk in the Austrian Alps in August 2017.

Supper will be provided by Ann Munroe.


June 27Dinner Evening

Restaurant Evening at La Beirut Lebanese Restaurant Killara at 552 Pacific
Highway, Killara. Licenced and BYO bottled wine. A successful and well-attended
evening was organised by the Editor at this restaurant in January 2016. Meet
from 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start. Refer to labeirut and particularly
location map. Parking available nearby at Killara Golf Club. Contact David Springthorpe at 9889 4153 or or in the clubroom by no later than Wednesday 20 June.


July 11: Clubroom Evening

The Overland Track from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Claire, by Therese Horsington and Barbara Wright.
Supper provided by Barbara Wright.


July 25: Dinner Evening

Restaurant Evening at the Kirribilli Hotel, 39 Broughton Street, Milsons Point,  it's a pub which is close to the Milsons Point railway station.  Come out of the railway station on the Ennis Road side.  Restaurant details and map. 7.00 p.m for 7.30 p.m. Being a pub, there is no BYO.

August 22: Dinner Evening

We have no Restaurant Evening yet identified for this date. So if anyone can put on a restaurant night, please let me know ASAP.



The Social Secretary occasionally emails members to remind them of the next clubroom meeting as well as other social activities.
