Trip Report:

Trip Intentions Form received from Leader with following 3 participant(s): NOELIA PINTO (M) MEL ARDERN (M) SCOTT BARTLEY (M) We had a wet weekend but camped in overhangs 4 out of 5 nights so that was ok. In the Mt Tarn overhang on Saturday night, a group of 8 from Sydney Bushwalkers arrived and shared the overhang with us for 1 night. They were a nice and considerate group. We stayed there 2 nights. After SBC left we found fresh used toilet paper nearby. This was very very disappointing. SBC obviously are not drumming into members the LNT principals! The Styles Creek track continues to become more overgrown with substantially more tree fall than 3 months ago. NPWS need to be made aware as walkers should be warned this track is now even more hard to discern. The Fosters Mountain track remains completely overgrown for the most part., on the contrary, the Mt Tarn track has been cleared by NPWS so that track is now good, obvious and fast going over Mt Tarn. < Updated from website 10/04/2026 08:40:01am > < MEL ARDERN 10/04/2026 >
